Most pets are WELCOME!

These are the simple rules that we ask you to follow:

  • Pets MUST be on leash and owners MUST pick up the poop!
  • Dogs are not allowed outside without their owners.
  • Dogs are not allowed to bark incessantly –some do when left alone in an RV.
  • Complaints will result in the guest being requested to remove the animal or keep them in their company at all times.
  • Prohibited breeds are pittbulls, rottweilers and Dobermans.

There is room in the back of the property for horse-camping groups and individuals.  Usually, people bring their own corrals.  There are many miles of dirt roads in this beautiful mountain country for horseback riding.  Horse-camping can be arranged by contacting sacredrocks@gmail.com or calling the office at 619-766-4480.

KEEP YOUR PETS ON A LEASH! This is a nature reserve with all the wildlife that comes with living in nature.  One of our guests who had visited for long periods of time insisted that her dogs would stay close to her at all times.  She liked to walk them.  One evening, she was out and the little dog stepped out of her sight and a terrible thing happened.  The little dog was kidnapped by a coyote and the sounds of terror from the little dog will never be forgotten.  The little dog was never found.  Learn from other people’s mistakes.  We are in the wild and wild animals follow their own survival needs.
