Interview between Sharon and Shaman Don

Here's a casual interview with one of our favorite Workampers, Don Henderson, who has been enjoying the beauty of Southern California camping at Sacred Rocks RV Park since September 2008.

Shaman Don has served 15 years as general manager for Mario Andretti; worked with Paul Newman and his racing organization; and has served as a Workamper for several years at KOA and private campgrounds.

Tell me, what attracts you about being at Sacred Rocks Reserve?

The quietness, it is great location for both the beaches of San Diego and the Sand Dunes of the Imperial Valley, close to 2 Casinos, tucked in between 3 Indian Reservations.

Have you changed since coming here, physically or mentally or spiritually? How?

Yes, My Spirituality has deepened considerably.

What part of the 'work' here do you like, dislike?

Great group of Workampers, a real Team atmosphere. Owners are very committed to having a clean park and insist on a friendly customer service oriented attitude.

What do you want your life to say?

That I have had a very positive effect on all two leggeds that I have encountered.
